In Uğur Altun’s illustration for ATÖLYE’s article titled “Service Design and Business Design: How can unexpected collaborations contribute to better service design?” two different design methods are represented by two different gears. Uğur reflects that contrary to common belief, these two methods can work together. These two gears rotate together, creating a shared value, a life, a flow, and this partnership turns into a narrative that nourishes both sides.

Uğur won the American Illustration Winners award with this design, and the design was selected for The Archive collection.
